Rømer to Kelvin Converter

1 Rømer = 0 Kelvin

About Rømer (°Rø) and Kelvin (K) Units

The Rømer scale (°Rø) is developed by the Danish astronomer Ole Rømer in 1701. In this system, water freezes at 7.5°Rø and boils at 60°Rø. Rømer created this scale while studying the freezing and boiling points of water for practical scientific measurements. It is no longer used in modern temperature measurements but remains important in historical studies. Kelvin (K) is the standard temperature unit used in science, physics, and engineering to measure absolute temperature. Unlike Celsius and Fahrenheit, Kelvin starts at absolute zero (0 K), which is the lowest possible temperature where all molecular motion stops. Kelvin does not use the degree symbol. For example, 0°C equals 273.15 K, and room temperature is about 298 K. It is widely used in laboratories, space science, thermodynamics, and any field that requires precise temperature measurements.
