The hectometer (hm) is useful for measuring sports tracks (1 lap = 4 hm), urban blocks (~1–2 hm long), or vineyard rows. Road signs in some European countries use hectometers for minor distance markers. Interplanetary distances (Jupiter is 588 Tm from the Sun). Mostly for astrophysics research.
To convert between Hectometer (hm) and Terameter (Tm), use the following formulas:
1 Hectometer (hm) = 1e-10 Terameter (Tm)
1 Terameter (Tm) = 10000000000 Hectometer (hm)
1 hm = 1 * 1e-10 Tm = 1e-10 Tm
2 hm = 2 * 1e-10 Tm = 2e-10 Tm
5 hm = 5 * 1e-10 Tm = 5e-10 Tm
10 hm = 10 * 1e-10 Tm = 1e-9 Tm
Hectometer (hm) | Terameter (Tm) |
---|---|
1 hm | 1e-10 Tm |
2 hm | 2e-10 Tm |
5 hm | 5e-10 Tm |
10 hm | 1e-9 Tm |
20 hm | 2e-9 Tm |
50 hm | 5e-9 Tm |
